What is Sowhat?

Is Sowhat an official WhatsApp partner?
Sowhat is built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform and is an approved Meta Tech Provider.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
For the shared inbox, templates, broadcasts and automation, yes — Sowhat helps you connect in minutes. Quick Send works without it.
Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app?
Yes. If your number is on the WhatsApp Business app you can connect it with coexistence and keep using the app; Meta copies recent chats once when you connect.
How much does WhatsApp cost?
Meta charges per template message by category and country, billed to your own Meta account. Replies within 24 hours of a customer’s message are free under Meta’s current pricing. Sowhat never marks these up.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes the shared inbox, leads, pipeline, lead forms and Quick Send for two people.
What does the Lifetime plan include?
Everything in Free plus template approvals, full data export and higher limits, for one payment of ₹7,999 + GST, valid for 10 years.
Does Sowhat make GST invoices?
Yes — quotations, proforma and tax invoices with CGST/SGST/IGST, credit notes and delivery challans, sent on WhatsApp as PDFs.
Does Sowhat file e-invoices?
Sowhat prepares the IRP bulk upload file and the e-way bill bulk JSON, and reads the portal’s result file back. Direct GSP filing is not included.
Can my accountant use the data?
Yes. Export GSTR-1 data, a day book, or TallyPrime XML on your own ledger names.
Which payments are supported?
Razorpay payment links, and payments straight into your own UPI ID, matched to the invoice automatically.
Can I sign in with Google or WhatsApp?
Yes. Continue with WhatsApp sends a one-time code from Sowhat’s number; Google, Facebook and Instagram sign-in are available where switched on.
Is my data safe?
Each workspace has its own database, secrets are encrypted, sign-in is rate-limited, and you can export or close your workspace at any time.
Does Sowhat work on my phone?
Yes. Install it from the browser on Android, iPhone, Mac or Windows.
Can I use AI?
Yes. Connect your own AI provider key to draft replies, run AI agents and get call briefs. AI usage is billed by your provider.
How do I cancel?
Paid plans simply end at the close of the period you paid for and the workspace moves to Free. See our Refund Policy.
